Oh hey there! I’m Deanna – the founder, face, and everything-in-between behind Birdie.
Photographer since way back in 2010, with a camera glued to my hand and a soft spot for small brands doing cool things. Over the years, I’ve done a little bit of everything from photoshoots to content ideas, Canva designs to brand strategy, marketing and sales - the whole shebang. Think of me as your own personal creative – the person who helps you actually show up online, with visuals that feel like you and content that sounds like you.
Outside the inbox, you’ll usually find me chasing around my wild little toddler (she’s the best kind of chaos), grabbing a coffee (or two three), digging for goodies in my local opshop, dreaming up new ideas mid-walk by the beach, or planning a road-trip with my partner.
Birdie is a blend of all the things I love – creativity, clarity, and helping people bring their brand to life in a way that feels good. If you’re keen to ditch the overwhelm and finally feel proud of how you show up? You’re in the right place. I got you.
Why the name Birdie? Honestly - I just alllllways wanted a brand name that was one word, a little bit retro, a bit cheeky, and that encapsulated everything I do (I used to be Deanna Walker Photography - but we do waaaaay more than just photography these days). And so - Birdie was born.
