OUR STORY.
Hey! It’s Deanna here - the founder of Birdie. I’ve been working as a freelance creative since 2012 - specialising in lifestyle photography and capturing imagery for brands and small businesses.
I’ve also always done other creative work alongside photography - marketing, blog writing, social media management, design work, and other creative bits and pieces. As my passion for capturing moments grew, so did my desire to offer something more. I decided to combine all the things I love to do, spread my wings, and create Birdie.
So many small businesses don’t have time or energy to deal with creating content for their social media and digital marketing. It can be so time-consuming - remembering to snap photos and video to post on your platforms, messing around with creating reels, and what to caption it. Blogs and websites often get neglected too. But me? I LOVE making content. I love crafting visuals and words that tell the story of a brand, in their own voice. I love photographing people and places, families and businesses.
